Mine and my fiancés conversation went to credit cards and debts this morning. I was just talking about getting myself a laptop through an installment plan and everything else followed. As much as I don’t want to have debt, I have no other options since buying a laptop with cash is something that I can’t afford. I know my limitations, though, when it comes to credit and any lending company will definitely have no problems with me. I’ve checked my free credit report, and when they check they will find out that I am an excellent credit risk. I will have debt when I get the laptop but it won’t be a big debt and I have no plans of adding any more. I will pay that one off first before I use credit again.
My fiancé will be shopping for door hardware this weekend after finally finishing the repainting of the bedrooms. He needs to replace the door knobs in those rooms. Though they are still usable, they really look old, per him. I haven’t seen the knobs so I am trusting everything to him. I actually browsed for door hardware at the same time online while we were talking on Skype and I found some that I like and that’s the Baldwin door hardware. They were not only affordable but very sophisticated.
I immediately informed him upon seeing the wide array of door hardware so he could check it out himself. He found them nice too, but still has yet to decide which one he likes. I don’t know exactly what’s making him indecisive. Or maybe he’s playing his game again, as if he doesn’t like my choices and then will just surprise me later after he’s already bought them
Hmmm…that do make me think. Yeah, maybe that is it! Gotcha, Honey! You can’t fool me. You’re just trying to pull one of your famous, and notorious gotchas on me. Hee hee!
I am pretty sure that they are merely life’s spices and without them life will be dull but what can I say? They simply annoyed me to the highest level. They are not perfect, I know, and I can’t blame them totally but oh well. They could have been more careful about it. It’s been their work for years so they should have mastered that craft already. Duh!
But there’s no use crying over spilled milk, right? Even if I will yak and yak about it, nothing can be done now. I would only be wasting my time and effort in yakking. I’d rather keep my mouth shut instead and have peace.
Yeah, right!
A call from our car insurance agent woke me up from my afternoon nap earlier. She reminded me that our insurance is going to expire soon and she just wanted to give me a heads-up so we wouldn’t forget. She always does that for which I am so thankful of because sometimes I forgot about important things because of my busy schedule as a mom, as a blogger and with our family business.
Anyway, I may have forgotten about the insurance but no big deal since I always have something saved in my wallet for the bills and for emergency situations. It’s a good thing they offer cheap auto insurance because it is not at all a pain in my pocket. They’ve been our provider for five years and will always be because their insurance is not only cost efficient but their service is excellent too.
While listening to the radio yesterday, I heard U2’s “With or Without You” – my most favorite song by them. They are one of my favorite bands and it has been my dream to see them in a concert and singing their songs live right in front of me. I have two of their albums, gifts from friends because they know that I am really a fan.
But I haven’t heard updates about the group recently. Or maybe I was just left out. Hmmm…maybe I will just browse online and see what I’ve missed and see what I have to look forward to. I hope it’s not yet too late for me to grab some U2 tickets if they’re having a nearby concert anytime soon. It would surely be nice to see them with my fiancé. Gotta go check now! And maybe we’ll see you there! (“,)
