I was surprised to see a mail in our mailbox today from my sister-in-law’s younger sis who lives in New Jersey. I wasn’t expecting anything from her and she didn’t give me the slightest hint that she was sending me something. Well, maybe she really wanted it to be a surprise.
There was a card and a little something inside the envelope when I peeped in it. I thought the little something was one of those trading pins that I saw her wearing, but it was actually a refrigerator magnet with our niece’s photo on it. That was really cute. I put it on the fridge pronto. That will remind me of my cutie little niece whom I miss terribly.
I am having my monthly cycle and though it is already the fourth day, still I am not in my best self. I don’t feel like doing anything at all. But glad I did the task before they will all expire. I had to push myself because it will be my lost too if I will not work on it.
I don’t feel like eating too, but just like the tasks, I had to push myself. I don’t want to get sick or something. It is the last thing that I want to happen. But though I don’t feel good, still, I don’t want to stay still and rest my tired mind and body. I’ve been sitting in front of the PC since early morning and I have no plans of vacating the place sooner. I don’t know. Trying to entertain myself perhaps. I guess so.
Nonetheless, I know I will be over this lousy feeling soon. It has to do with the hormones, I believe so.
A jack of all trades. That’s what my husband is. He can do plumbing, mechanical, electrical and so many other kinds of work. That’s simply great because it always saves us big time money whenever there are things that needs fixing here at home.
Just yesterday, he changed the oil in our car. I know he’s been doing it for years and has mastered it, but still, I wish he’d get a car lift so it would be easier for him to do the task. Wonder how much one would cost?
I’ve been looking for great deals on appliances since last night. Our neighbor got an awesome deal on her kitchen appliances which included a refrigerator, electric stove and dishwasher. I am looking for the same things, plus a home theater system and I did find some that really are so affordable.
There was a side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and electric oven for only 900 bucks. Isn’t that cool? I am still continuing my search for the home theater system. I hope I will be lucky enough to find a samsung home theatre system that would fit our budget. Good luck to me!
I really admire the school system here. They are encouraging students to read at least 20 minutes a day during the summer so they have this bookmobile that delivers books to the kids every Wednesday. Yogi got his third set of books to read today which will last him a week. The teacher brought a lot of books and he let Yogi pick the ones that he wanted.
Yogi’s likes the idea. He is always excited for the bookmobile to arrive and he set a time in the evening that he would read, and that’s at 7 o’clock. I really hope he will grow to love books like my husband so, he will be a smart man like his daddy.
My husband is a very hardworking man and his job takes a lot of physical work; that is why he is always tired when he gets home from work. And there are times that he actually complains of back pain to the point that he will take pain relievers.
Though he hasn’t complained of any back pain as of late, I know he will sometime soon because he is not getting any younger and it really worries me. The pain has to do with muscle pain only though and I guess he won’t be needing a saunders back supports, but if ever, we will never have second thoughts for sure of getting him one.
Though I’ve known my sister-in-law’s grandmother for years, I haven’t had updates of her at all until when I got to talk to my sister-in-law’s mom when we saw each other in Virginia a couple of weeks ago.
She is already weak at the age of 85 and is not in good health. She can’t even stand by herself anymore. That was really a shock for me and I was definitely saddened by it.
As soon as I got home, I sent her a card and sympathy gifts that I ordered online. They were four little angels holding each letter of her name which is Remy. They are really cute and I hope she will like it.
That was my 8-year-old son’s most favorite word. And I guess it will be my favorite word soon too not unless things will change. Like I will be able to get out more often and drive on my own. As much as I want to now, I simply can’t. The husband works from Monday to Friday so the weekend is the only time that my son and I can go out and see the world. We still rely on the husband now because he’s our driver. And even though I already know how to drive, I still can’t because I still don’t have the proper documents to do it.
So, boorrriiing… Teehee!
It is mowing day for the husband. I was hearing the riding mower until a few minutes ago when it abruptly stopped. I know there must be a problem with it again. It has been acting up lately which is really making the husband agitated.
He has been using the riding mower for years and it has been his buddy in his yard cleaning, but he recently discovered one problem: the maker of the riding mower has went out of business, thus, making it hard to get parts and accessories. It would have been easy if what he was looking for was polaris rzr accessories; he would definitely find that online. But what he’s got is not an ATV, but a riding mower. Oh well! Hope he will be able to find solutions to the problems.
