Aside from being a bookworm, my husband is also a music lover. He loves listening to music as well as playing the guitar. His guitar is neatly placed on its stand near the fireplace and although he’s had it for years, it is still rockin’ and rollin’. He has played so much music on that guitar, but he did mention one time about getting rid of it because he doesn’t play as much as he once did.
It being his birthday next month, I thought of maybe giving him one of those ibanez guitars which I’m sure would ignite his playing passion again. I have been contemplating of what to give him and it has been mind boggling because I simply want to give him the best. So maybe that’s the ticket.
The latest technology and new innovations never fail to amaze me. From home security systems, the latest electronic gadgets and the high-end medical equipments like that of a Howard-Medical.com medical computer cart, the list simply goes on. And I know it doesn’t stop there. There will be more gadgets, equipment, tools, etc. that are still in the making and will be introduced to us in the future. I guess soon, there will be, flying cars and the like. LOL.
We were really thankful that everything went out smoothly the way we hoped and prayed. We went to one government office today to finally get it all done and gladly, it was all done in just an hour. So, we’re now good to go. Wooot!!!
I’m sorry but I really can’t reveal exactly what it was. But if you had been reading about my posts in this blog as well as in my other blogs, you will get an idea of what I am talking about. It’s not that I am trying to be mysterious or secretive. I am just being careful, that’s it. In this kind of world we live in now, I should or better yet, we should.
It was a week before Christmas when my husband’s uncle passed away. It was very unexpected because we didn’t know he was ill. More so, my husband was saddened by it because he wasn’t informed that he was in the hospital so we never got to visit and see him one last time. His brother only called him on the night of his uncle’s passing.
I’d only seen his uncle twice, on Easter Sunday and on Thanksgiving, but even though that was only it, I was happy that I got to meet him. He was a very quiet man and known to be very kind. I can still remember the kind smile on his face when I saw him on those two occasions. I could tell he was really a good man.
We attended his funeral three days before Christmas and we sent his family a sympathy gift basket after that. That may be a sad Christmas for the family, but we know he is now happy where he is with his wife.
It has been a wet, dreary and cold day today. As much as I want to at least clean the porch, I just can’t because it’s cold out there. I know it’s already winter, but you know what? Our temperatures since winter started have been extremely mild, some days just like spring. It has been in the 40’s today, but during the past days, it was in the 50’s or 60’s. Lucky us, huh?
So, since I can’t clean the outside, I might as well just keep myself busy reading. I am done cleaning the inside so, there’s nothing left for me to do. Well, maybe I will start reading about a cell booster. I don’t think we need one, but it is one of the many things that the search engine gave me after searching for cell phones. It always pays to read, doesn’t it?
I guess you already know who I am talking about. But of course, no one else, but my husband.
He always calls me every single day while at work to check how I am doing and also to update me of what he’s been up to. Normally, he would call me around 9 o’clock in the morning. Today, he did call me at the same time and I thought that was it. But at about 1 o’clock in the afternoon, he called me once again and I thought it is to inform me that he will work overtime or whatever, but nah. He only called to say “I LOVE YOU!”
Aaahhh, isn’t that the sweetest?
