Author: Yes, ’tis almost that time, again; Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas! Well, I may be a wee bit early but I truly am excited because this is going to be one of my most special Christmas seasons ever. Why, you may wonder? Because…because I will be sharing it with my new hubby, that’s why. (“,)
Though not yet together and married, we will be by then. And he’s already ahead of the game, having got rid of all his old decorations and replacing them with new goodies, to make our first Chrismas together a special one full of beautiful memories.
He’s bought new decorations for the tree, new candles and wreaths and he’s especially pleased with the C6 led christmas lights he got to replace the old antique bulbs he grew up with. Yes, he still had them, the ones that were on his tree when he was a little boy, the screw in type. Wow! Them truly are antiques. And the one thing that will really make this a memorable Christmas for me is that for the first time I will be where it is actually cold. Since I come from a land of eternal summer, when I find myself in the mountains of Western North Carolina, I’ll have the experience of a lifetime, a true winter Christmas. And who knows? I may actually see a white Christmas. Yes, “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas.” Sorry, Bing.
