Oh, Mother’s Day is already next month, right? I thought of it all of a sudden after seeing Mother’s Day gift ideas online. I like the one where you can design your own mothers rings. For my mom, who loves jewelry so much, I think that would be the best gift to give her for Mother’s Day.

And it will be more special knowing that I design it myself. I can show her how creative I can be when it comes to jewelry. It will be my first, but let’s see. I will do my best to give her the bestest.

Yesterday was my second time of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day here in the U.S., and although I didn’t receive any gift basket from GiftBaskets.com from the husband like he always does whenever there’s an occasion, it was totally different from last year. We didn’t do anything last year, but yesterday, we definitely had a blast. And it wasn’t in the plan at all. My son was invited for a sleepover next door, so, my husband made an impromptu decision to have a date.

We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant nearby. Afterwards, we both decided to have a joy ride. We toured the downtown and we definitely enjoyed everything that we saw – people of different ages walking and many were wearing green outfits and some wore costumes. That was my first to have seen such and that was really cool. The husband told me that next time, we’ll walk downtown too and check out what the stores have got. I’m excited!

It was a week before Christmas when my husband’s uncle passed away. It was very unexpected because we didn’t know he was ill. More so, my husband was saddened by it because he wasn’t informed that he was in the hospital so we never got to visit and see him one last time. His brother only called him on the night of his uncle’s passing.

I’d only seen his uncle twice, on Easter Sunday and on Thanksgiving, but even though that was only it, I was happy that I got to meet him. He was a very quiet man and known to be very kind. I can still remember the kind smile on his face when I saw him on those two occasions. I could tell he was really a good man.

We attended his funeral three days before Christmas and we sent his family a sympathy gift basket after that. That may be a sad Christmas for the family, but we know he is now happy where he is with his wife.

I have this girlfriend who just like me is so into bags. Well, it’s one of the many of women’s weaknesses, isn’t it? So for Christmas, I gave her one. And though it wasn’t one of those bags in this website’s wide selection of leather gifts for her, still, she was so happy and delighted about what I got for her. I do know what her taste is when it comes to bags since we have the same likes and, actually, it’s almost the same bag that I got for myself on my birthday. Wooot!

Though I’ve known my sister-in-law’s grandmother for years, I haven’t had updates of her at all until when I got to talk to my sister-in-law’s mom when we saw each other in Virginia a couple of weeks ago.

She is already weak at the age of 85 and is not in good health. She can’t even stand by herself anymore. That was really a shock for me and I was definitely saddened by it.

As soon as I got home, I sent her a card and sympathy gifts that I ordered online. They were four little angels holding each letter of her name which is Remy. They are really cute and I hope she will like it.
